Deformity Series - Charcot Neuroarthropathy
65 yr old male, Diabetic with this deformity for last one year with increasing limp and finding it difficult to get appropriate footwear and orthotics. Diabetes controlled now and at present no open wounds. Bloods normal with no evidence of infection.
What would you do?
- Hindfoot fusion with only TTC nail
- Hindoot fusion with TTC nail and use a supplementary plate
- TTC nail with a frame
- Would you a custom 3D printed cage in this case?
- Lateral or Anterior or medial approach?
- Can MIS be done in such cases?
