Dr Pradeep Moonot’s visit to Houston, Texas, was a vibrant blend of academic learning, surgical training, and personal joy. Under the guidance of Foot & Ankle maestro Dr. Vinod Panchbhavi, he gained valuable insights and hands-on experience at the renowned Stryker cadaveric lab, including total ankle replacement and the use of bio-absorbable ligaments.
The trip also included a memorable visit to the historic Galveston Medical School (UTMB)—one of the oldest medical institutions in the USA—along with engaging interactions with dedicated staff and reconnecting with old friends.
On the lighter side, Dr. Moonot enjoyed a spectacular dinner with his hosts and fulfilled a lifelong dream with a visit to NASA, making the experience truly “astronomical.” This visit reinforced the belief that the pursuit of knowledge and passion for excellence can lead to extraordinary experiences.
